two new Michelin stars for East Anglia!

As last night’s Michelin awards, two restaurants received their first stars, taking it to eight stars across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridge.

New to the list were STORE in Stoke Mill, Stoke Holy Cross, Norfolk, and Restaurant Twenty-Two in Cambridge. Both earned one star. Liam Nichols, Head Chef at STORE, said: “Wow. Completely blown away by this. Huge achievement by all involved! Onwards and upwards! Thank you Michelin Guide for this incredible award.”

Liam trained under Daniel Clifford at Midsummer House in Cambridge, who maintained their two Michelin star rating for the 19th year.

Pea Porridge in Bury St Edmunds, who earned their first star last year, retained their star for 2023, as did Meadowsweet in Holt, who were also new entries in 2022. The Neptune in Hunstanton and Morston Hall in Morston continue to hold their Michelin Star.

Congratulations to all chefs and their amazing teams – we are sure you celebrated in some style!
