Jubilee ‘Fit for a Queen’ afternoon tea at The Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa

Celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at the 15^th century The Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa with a special ‘Fit for a Queen’ Afternoon Tea. To mark the occasion, The Swan’s Pastry Folk have worked incredibly hard to deliver an afternoon tea worthy of a royal, treating you to some of the Monarch’s favourite sweet and savoury delights.

Tempting treats will be presented course-by-course on bespoke Royal Worcester fine bone china in either the elegant Gallery restaurant, cosy lounge, or flower-filled courtyard garden. The menu even includes a mini Victoria sponge to take away and continue your celebrations at home.

Available from Saturday 21 May until Sunday 17 July, the indulgent menu begins with delicate finger sandwiches followed by plain and sultana scones, topped with clotted cream and jam. The selection of specially created ‘royal’ cakes includes a Queen Elizabeth cake, ‘Dubonnet cocktail’ macaroon, cherry and vanilla Battenburg and a chocolate biscuit cake all paired with unlimited refills of your choice of Novus teas or coffee.

Served from 12pm until 4pm, Monday to Saturday and between 2.30pm and 4pm on Sundays, the Fit for a Queen Jubilee Afternoon Tea is priced at £25 per person including your personal treat to take home, or £39.50 with an added glass of Champagne to toast Her Majesty!
