nourish issue 4 – out now!

There is a wonderful theme running through this edition – other than delicious food and inspiration – and that is the idea that things are pre-fated, or ‘serendipity’ as we prefer to refer to it. 

Speaking to many of the people within this issue, they talk about how they always knew they would end up where they are – either through a long-held dream they have worked hard to bring to reality, or just through a feeling, that they belonged in a certain place and when an opportunity presented itself to them to follow that feeling, they took it. 

We are now at the height of summer, and what better time than to dream of finding your own serendipity? Maybe as you visit some of the incredible places we share within these pages, it may spark something within you and put you on a different path in life. 

We truly do have some wonderful features for you in nourish 04. The Peacock in Chelsworth is our cover star – and it really is a star, too. Nestled in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, it is well worth a visit, as is The Lavenham Greyhound just down the road. We cannot think of a better way to spend a weekend than staying at The Peacock with lunch at The Lavenham Greyhound before returning home.

Staying in Suffolk, we share the launch of a fantastic new venture, Fire and Feast Suffolk, where you can camp and learn to cook over fire. Very much about back to nature, this unique place is very special indeed. Also newly launched, this time in Wells-next-the-Sea in Norfolk, is Meet you at Six, a beach hut offering pure luxury.

Events are slowly returning, and we share Bakers & Larners of Holt’s first event since 2019 in this issue, a wine tasting and fine dining night, along with reviews of just some of the fabulous places that there are to eat in this part of the world.
