Sudbury Farmers’ Market

One of the best town centre farmers markets in Suffolk!
Right in the centre of one of Suffolk’s Hidden Gems – The birthplace of Gainsborough and the heart of Britain’s silk industrial heritage.
The Sudbury Farmers Market is now entirely outside all the way along Market Hill with the statue of Thomas Gainsborough looking over us!
The popular stalls include Sunshine & Green with all their fresh organic vegetables plus plenty of vegan pastries from The Norwegian Bakers who have gained a massive following at the market. BeeHouse Honey returns as does ComplEat Caterers with their handmade pies and selection of regional cheeses. Locally based Alex Artisan Bakery treats everyone with their bakes and market stalwarts Tensheds Bakehouse will be there with their sourdoughs and breads, the Jam Shed bring their jams and chutneys and Mena’s Indian Banquet will provide some spice with their samosas and paneers. There are gluten free cakes/quiches from Hopewell Bakery, a range of chilli jams from Mad Mike and fruit vinegars and marshmallows from Yaffle House. Look out for tasty sausages and venison from Totham Bangers and Wigborough Meats offer a range of their home reared beef, pork and hogget as well as Sutton Hoo chicken.
Assington based charity The Befriending Scheme bring a range of plants and herns from their farm and if that makes you thirsty there is craft beer from Roughacre Brewery or some Kombucha from Pure Kombucha.
There will plenty of excellent craft stalls including LadyBirdsStitches’ eco friendly re-usable products, soap from Goat in a Soap and recycled wooden crafts from Comfy Be as well as candles from Potterswick.
Over 25 stalls will be showcasing their food and drink on Market Hill so a perfect place to stay local, get outdoor and shop in the fresh air.
