And to Candi’s Cupboard, and Marsh Pig! 

Today marks one year since the publication of the very first issue of nourish magazine, and never in our wildest dreams did we imagine the amazing reception this publication would receive. It has now been a year to the day since nourish 01 came out to a wonderful reception. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey, and who has since joined the nourish family. We know the food and drink scene in East Anglia has so much to offer, and we look forward to continuing to grow with you. 

Meanwhile, both Candi’s Cupboard and Marsh Pig celebrate their 10-year anniversary this month. Back in 2012, while we were all watching the Royal Wedding and the London Olympics, Candi, Jackie, and Sarah were making their dreams a reality, and putting the finishing touches to their fledgling businesses. 10 years, and a huge number of awards on, and both companies are true icons
of the local food and drink industry.

One thing that we can all agree on is, since day one when we went public, time has flown! It doesn’t seem possible to us that this is now our fifth issue of nourish – and we are sure that Candi, Jackie, and Sarah cannot quite believe that they are taking their products to the North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival for their 10th anniversary.

Without dreams and support, none of these businesses would ever have got off the ground, so a huge thank you to all who have bought a jar of chutney, some salami, a subscription – and who visit their local on a weekly basis for a quiet drink, who buy from the local high street rather than a supermarket, and who champion local producers, and those who sell their produce, across East Anglia. We all know that spending locally is the best way to put money back into the community, and we all need more anniversaries to share and reasons to celebrate.
